Back at the Brickyard

In typical years, the Indianapolis 500 is more than a race. It’s a holiday, a party, an annual pilgrimage made by upwards of 250,000 passionate fans traveling from all over. The sort of people excited at finally gracing the hallowed oval at the Brickyard. American flags are everywhere. So are costumes, flyovers, balloons, celebrity appearances and musical acts. Not to mention a helping of good oldfashioned nostalgia. The Indy 500 is a quintessential touchstone of Americana. Of course, this was anything but a typical year.

At Vuse, we believe in always striving to charge beyond, whether the stands are packed, or in this case, completely empty. After a strong start, the No. 7 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet’s day ended prematurely following a crash on lap 92. We’re just glad the driver is OK. The No. 5 Arrow McLaren SP Chevrolet cracked the top ten, finishing in sixth place to lead all rookies. We’ll be hearing from both drivers in the years to come. We’re honored to call ourselves a proud partner of Arrow McLaren SP, a leader on and off the track.

Although the race is over, you can still show off your INDYCAR fandom with racing-inspired Vuse wraps.
